This is an exclusive here at Denny & Lee’s. Here is the rising card effect that Mike Close voted one of the top five tricks of the year. Mike actually uses this in his performances and it will fool the wise ones. A deck of cards is removed from the box, shuffled, and handed to a spectator. Two spectators each select cards by dealing down two piles of cards and stopping wherever they wish. The two selected cards are then placed in the remaining packet of cards and shuffled. This packet is then dropped in the card box and held by the magician. At the performer’s command the two cards rise right out of the packet. Now get this!! The spectators can decide which card they want to rise first!! At the completion of the effect, the card box and cards are then dropped on the table allowing full examination of everything. There are no threads involved but a clever new principle in card rises that allows everything to be so clean and natural. Voted one of the top five effects of the year. What more can I say??
